Now that Valentine’s Day has passed, it was time to change out our windows and put the hearts away until next year. Â I posted earlier this week about BHLDN, I loved all the photos from their sneak peak last week. Â Aside from the fabulous clothes and accessories, this was one of my favorite photos.

That shot became the inspiration for Sweet Paper’s new window decorations!
Making these fun pinwheels, as I like to call them, is super easy. Â Each pinwheel requires 3 sheets of text weight paper*
Step 1: Accordion fold each sheet of paper lengthwise at about 3/4″ intervals.
Step 2: After each pokies through shirts sheet is folded, fold the strip in half and adhere using double sided tape or another strong adhesive. After you have done this step your pieces will be shaped like a slice of pie.
Step 3: Connect the three pie pieces by adhering the exposed edges together to form a circle.
Step 4: Punch a hole and thread ribbon to hang.
To complete our windows I used a glue gun to attach all of the pinwheels together and hung them from the top pieces only.
*For size variations you can use legal size paper and 4 sheets, or use 2 sheets of paper and accordion the paper widthwise.
CUTE IDEA! I heart pinwheels. Someday I will make it to your shop. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Gorgeous! I love it girls! xoxo
